What is the difference between a humidifer and a vaporizer?!

Question:

What is the difference between a humidifer and a vaporizer?

Which one is best for Bronchitis?

Answers:

They are both basically the same. Same principle. Water is heated until it becomes steam and released into the air.

The main differences are...

a humidifier usually produces "cool steam." It just allows water vapor to enter the air to humidify the air.

A vaporizer usually produces "hot steam." It is also to humidify the air, but also usually has an additional area to place liquid medicine that evaporates with the water into steam to help you breath better if congested due to cold or flu symptoms.

A humidifier might be best for Bronchitis, but you should ask your doctor.
