Question: Doctors and nurses! answer for 10 pts!.!!?
i already asked this question but i need to know from real doctors and nurses!. a few weeks ago i got hit with a baseball under my eye!. the bruise is gone but i have this little lump under my eye and a noticeable bruise right in that spot!. when i touch the skin lightly i can feel it!. should i go to the doctors!? and if your a doctor or nurse please tell me if u think it is broken or fractured, etc!. thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a nurse- it sounds to me like you have a hematoma!. A hematoma is a gathering of blood outside the vessel wall!. It can look like a bruise but it can also cause hard welt like bumps(caused by a "blood sac")Usually the hematoma goes away but if it doesn't go away on its own it may need to be removed surgically!. If your worried about it or it causes alot of pain i would see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should definitely go the doctor! It sounds really gross and really serious! I don't know if you fractured your bone, but it sounds bad!Www@Answer-Health@Com
