This is a viral condition that is usually self-limiting!. It will likely resolve in 4-6 months on its own!.
For the more noticeable or prominent papules, we sometimes will FREEZE them off with a cryo unit!. I don't advise this unless the parents are willing to have their child suffer from the pain for some reason!. So, I try to talk them out of it!.
