Isotretoin is also known as its original name in America Accutane, or Roaccutane in the rest of the world!. Isotretoin is a powerful drug that is a Vitamin A derivitive!. Doctors usually prescripe this to specific patients after acne treatments that have failed to generate satisfactory results!. This shouldn't be your first choice of therapy!.You have to demonstrate that you are unresponsive to other treatment!. The degree of your acne is usually severe nodular acne that can't be cleared even by oral antibiotics, and acne is inflammatory with scarring!. The process of obtaining Isotretoin is strict!. In fact, in America, there is a federal registry program that is established, which mandates that everyone who is on this treatment has to register!. The program is called iPLEDGE and your prescriber has to enroll you on it prior to him/her prescribing the drug!. It was mainly aimed at reducing the adverse effects associated with the drug such as birth defects, miscarriages and abortions!. This procedure is conducted around the world similarly!. And before the treatment your Doctor has to order blood tests, get info about your liver function, and triglyceride and cholesterol levels because this drug can cause changes in your liver and blood!. So my sick ule's i hope this has given you some sense of understanding about this powerful drug!.If you want to contact me i'll try my best to answer anything else!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's Accutane -- you cannot get it without a prescription!. It's an incredibly effective treatment for acne, but it's usually reserved for serious cases that don't respond to other forms of treatment or for cases of acne that might cause significant scarring!. I've taken it multiple times -- no side effects that I couldn't tolerate!. Consult a physician if your acne is severe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is an anti-acne drug!. It's a very high dose of Vit A!. You would need a prescription to get that!. Since the doctor/dermatologist would have check your blood test result before deciding if you can or cannot take it!. Or, if how low or high your dosage can be!.
I just started taking it!. At first I was worried about the various side effects, but, my doctor assured me she's going to keep track of my treatment!. Meaning, I have to take monthly blood tests to check up with what the treatment is doing to my body!.
And, BTW, the drug is called Roaccutane or simple "Accutane"Www@Answer-Health@Com
