Is there anything out there to stop reoccuring pelvic inflamatory diesease?
Even when I'm not active,I have it.The doctor told me it's a STD,how could this be when I have'nt been active in 1 yr at that time?I seem to get it if I'm active or not,what can be done about this?

Initially if indeed in the past you have contracted some form of STD, you should have had adequate treatment for this... Or review very well your past medical history with your attending physician. Dont forget to mention if you have some form of implants such as IUD (Intrauterine device) which could act as the nest for recurring infection... If for now the doctor is sure that its PID that you have, you should be started on antibiotics... Recurring PID is a very high risk factor for infertility in the future and may pose a problem if you're planning to have a baby...
