Answers:
There are several reasons people get headaches regularly they can be related to eye strain, allergies to particular foods, lack of nutrients in a diet, dehydration, lack of caffeine if you are used to having it daily, high blood pressure, and diagnosed conditions such as migraines and cluster headaches!.

First you should start a log track for 1 week everything you do, eat, and places you go mark times headaches start and end as well as any medication taken for relief and if it was helpful!. Keep track of where the headache is located for example is it one side of your head, front or back!. Track any symptoms which are associated with it for example back or neck pain!. After that look for patterns in behaviors, foods, and places which may trigger the headache!.

If you notice a pattern such as headaches which often occur while reading or in school then have your eyes checked first (this is always a good idea anyway, but as a lot of people do not have access to insurance there are some other things you can try first); If the diary you keep shows that a headache always happens when a food or liquid is involved (this almost always happens with caffeine) then cut that item out of your diet and see if it helps!. If you cannot find a pattern of any kind or resolve it then it would be a good idea to contact your pediatrician and make an appt!. to be evaluated, however while you are waiting for that appt!. you can gather this information and when you see the MD he or she will have everything they will need in order to help you with the problem!.
Also, be aware over the counter medications such as excedrin migraine and just about anything specifically geared for migraines or headaches have been linked to rebound headaches in some people and should be avoided for pain control your best bet is tylenol generic is fine and or motrin/ibuprofen, be careful with this last and do not take it on an empty stomach as it can cause stomach upset and bleeding!. The most common primary headaches in kids are migraines and tension headaches!.

In children, tension headaches are almost always related to stress!. Tension or spasms in the muscles of the head, neck, face or jaw cause a dull, squeezing pain on both sides of the head!. This steady and non-throbbing pain may be mild to moderate!.

Migraine pain is pulsating or throbbing!. Sufferers may experience dizziness, loss of coordination, difficulty talking, nausea, vomiting, changes in mood or appetite, increased fatigue, and sensitivity to light and sound!. Migraines are recurrent, although there may not be a pattern to the attacks!. They may last a day or longer!. Some end gradually!. Others end abruptly with vomiting or a deep sleep!.

Ten to 20 minutes before a migraine, some people get auras!. These are visual disturbances such as blurred vision or seeing spots, colored balls or bright, flashing lights!. Auras usually last about 20 minutes!.

Before age 10, an equal number of boys and girls get migraines; however, after age 12, migraines affect girls more often!. They also tend to run in families!.

The exact cause of migraines is unknown!. Some kids are sensitive to common triggers such as stress, not eating, weather changes, changes in sleep patterns, and certain foods like cheese, pizza, chocolate, ice cream, fatty or fried food, lunch meat, hot dogs, yogurt, aspartame or anything containing MSG!.

PS I've been on ADD medication all my life and get a headache about once a year!. Stimulants are the safest class of medication prescribed, safer then aspirin!.

Deaths from aspirin each year 7600 Death from Ritalin in 50 years, 001 and most people doubt even that one!. Scientology nuts like Tom Cruise and people who suggest Saint Johns Wort for stomach cancer try to demonize these wonder drugs that allow us to live a normal life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I started getting headaches/migraines when I was 6 years old!. They sent me in to get checked for tumors first, yet found none!. I went to a neurologist and was diagnosed with severe migraines!. I would get 2-3 a week!. You are never to young to start getting headaches, and a lot of times there is nothing you can do to prevent them!. I am now 26 years old and still get them frequently!. Would definalty get checked for tumors as you never know!. You may just be one of the unlucky ones like me who goes through life suffering with chronic headaches!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If u watch tons of tv, and then have a spell of not watching tv, ur brain wont be used to it!. I get it all the time!. U just settle down, and it will eventually drift away!. But if u change what the brain does in a snap, ur brain will be more confused and that's what causes the headaches!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
