I too was worried about the side effects of implanon !.!.!. I had heard plenty of bad stories !.!.!. and I heard good stories too!. But when it comes down to it, you're never going to know how your body will react until you try it!. Everyone's different, what may not work for someone could very well work for you, and visa versa!.

I have had implanon for a year now and have not had a single period! Yep that's right, I have been period free for a year and it has been fantastic!. On the odd occasion I'll get slight cramps and bloating, but nothing to whinge about!. I have had a tiny bit of spotting for a day or two, but barely anything!. My mood and emotions have improved, I no longer suffer PMS !.!.!. things are generally great in that respect!.

But like I said, everyone's different !.!.!. some people suffer irregular periods, whereas some people don't get them at all!. I had the same concerns as you but thought I'd just give it a go because I was never going to know until I tried it!. And I liked the fact that if you don't like implanon, you can get it removed straight away!. Give it a try for a couple months (takes about 3 months for the body to adjust) and if you don't like it, have it taken out !.!.!. easy as that!.

Ohh and another huge benefit is it only costs like $30 and lasts for 3 years!! Much cheaper than buying the pill!. I travelled overseas for 10 months and this was fantastic, I didn't have to remember to take the pill, nor did I have to make sure I had extra supplies of the pill with me!.

Good luck with your decision !.!.!. no harm in trying it :)

Ohh and PS: my sister had implanon for 3 years and when hers was removed her and her husband decided to try and have a baby and they conceived very very quickly !.!.!. they now have a healthy baby boy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the implanon in for 9 months after I had my first daughter - I held onto every single kilo I gained in the pregnancy (22kg in total)!. I also would bleed every 4 weeks for 2 weeks at a time!. It was insane I gave it 9 months and then had it taken out!. THe weight fell off me in 3 months - and my periods returned to be regular!. Personally I hated it and would not recommend it at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey there, yeh i agree with miss!.!.
i have it for a year, bled for two weeks at a time with a one week gap if i was lucky!.
i finally decided to concieve and it took me about 9 months to fall preggers!.!.
never again!.
i also held onto my weight while on it and found myself a little cranky and sensitive, more than pms!.!. and more often tooWww@Answer-Health@Com
