Question: My girlfriend has Herpes!?
my Girlfriend of 2 years goes to Vegas, comes back and 2 weeks later has a rash on her!.!.!. which ends up being Herpes!. We both had tests before we dated but they apparently don't test for Herpes!? I've been tested again, I am negative, but she has Type 2 Herpes, near her vagina!. Is it possible that after 2 years of unprotected sex that i don't have it!? Is she didn't cheat on me, SURELY i would have it by now!? The hard things is not much research is done and the doctor can't answer me!.!.!. so I am really confused!.!. I love her and would stay with her if she did cheat and was honest about her, we all **** up!.!.!. but can anyone shed any light on this!? How can i not have got it if she did have it!? after 2 years of unsafe sex!?!?

It is possible she has had it all along and it was just dormant in her system until she finally had an outbreak!. It happens!. It's also highly possible that you would never contract it from her in the 2 years you dated!. Like someone else said, it's a complex virus and VERY common!. 98% of people who have it don't know!. It's not standard in STD tests!. You have to request a blood test!. Ultimately, you have to decide whether you trust your girlfriend or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have herpes!. My husband does not!. We have had unprotected sex throughout our entire relationship - 13 years now and he has never gotten it!. He has been tested and the test is negative routinely!. I don't advise having unprotected sex with your gf however, but its not something my husband is worried about!. Herpes Type 1 and Type 2 is a very complex thing!. You could easily get it, or not get it!. Some people have protected or unprotected sex for awhile, and never catch it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
