Answers:
It may be due to something called "Oral Allergy Syndrome" which is actually a reaction to the pollens absorbed by the particular fruit or vegetable!. Sometimes peeling may help it or cooking it also helps!.

Does this happen to you only with raw tomatoes or also with cooked ones!?

I love tomatoes also, but my digestive system can not handle the acidity in the tomato!. You just be one of those people that can not tolerate a lot of acidity!. Do any other foods make this happen!? You may want to make a appointment with a gastroligist!. Good Luck! To ensure safe acidity in whole, crushed, or juiced tomatoes, add 2 tablespoons of bottled lemon juice or 1/2 teaspoon of citric acid per quart of tomatoes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
