Question: Is it possible to be born with HIV!?
I know you can get HIV from breast milk!. If I get HIV from being born with it or through breast milk, will I develop AIDS in the future!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the mother of the baby is positive there is a 2 percent chance of the baby contracting the virus if the mother follows the proper protocols!. Though in that 2 percent of children that are born with it only 2 percent of that will have the virus after the age of 2!. Due to the fact that the child's own immune system hasn't quite developed yet!.

Many people live for years with the virus and never develop the full blown disease!. However a physician should follow you re antiretrovirals avail!. if your mother was HIV positive, you have a very high chance of having the antibody in your blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
