Chemo is very tough on the body!. Vitamins and minerals are very important after treatment!. Consider supplements that can be trusted to be pure!. This is important since introducing contaminants into a compromized immune system (a result of the treatment) will only make it worse!. chemo is known to deplete many minerals in our systems!. Graying hair has been linked to a lack of zinc, and as cancer victims our zinc level is low to begin with!. A sign of lack of zinc are white spots on the finger nails!. A doctor could do tests to see what vitamins and minerals are lacking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sometimes when you lose your hair from chemo it can grow back completely different!. they tell you this when you first get chemo!. My aunt had straight graying hair!.!. and it stayed the same color but became really REALLY curly (just like her sister aka-my mom) it was kinda funny cuz she didn't care!. but if your hair changes then it stays that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It just takes a while for the pigment to "wake up!." I had salt and pepper colored hair when it fell out, and what came back was totally white!. Now, 3 months later, the pepper is coming back in!.
