How does insulin work?!

Question: How does insulin work!?
Answers:
Insulin is a hormone, which is a type of chemical!. In the body, insulin is produced in the pancreas!. It is needed to allow sugars, or glucose, from food to enter cells!.
insulin acts as a key to open the cells allowing glosoce to enter and it allows it to be used as engery!.
insulin also does the following :
stimulates the cells of the body to take up glucose, so that they have the energy to do their work allows extra sugar to be stored as energy for future use!. It can be stored in the liver, in the form of glycogen, or deposited in fat cells!.
but our body is always making insulin its called basal amount

we need this because as we sleep our liver still reales some our blood sugar throu out the body!.
This basal amount of insulin ensures a perfect balance between the amount of glucose being produced by the liver and that being used by the cells of the body!. This prevents either low or high glucose levels!.

It causes the body's cells to take up glucose from the blood and stores it as glycogen in the liver and muscle, and stops fat as an energy source - which is why a high carb diet with high glycemic-indecies (loads of pastas, grains, rice) is not a good idea for those wanting to lose weight, nor is such a diet safe for diabetics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
