I have type 1 diabeties and I'm just a teenager!. Is taking like 25 units of Novelog Insulin with 1 meal hazardous at all!. Like if I have a high number and want to eat a little bit more!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to talk with your doctor about how much insulin to take for how many carbs you're eating!. that is what you should base it on!. i'm on the pump and take humalog insulin, but my carb to insulin ratio is 1 unit for every 9 grams of carbs!. you should also have a ratio for bringing your sugars down to!. like mine is 1 unit to every 30 points !. so if my blood sugar was 200 and i'm aiming to be at 120 i'd' take 2!.6 units!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
