With obstructive sleep apnea the soft tissue in your neck collapse in on your trachea while you sleep until you take in a big breath or a snore!. Central sleep apnea is a nerological thing and you sometimes just don't get the message to take a breath!. They have machines for you to wear at night to keep your airway open and prevent the periods of apnea, CPAP or BIPAP machines!. So no, you are not dying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
