Initially the difference would be which handle you turn to get the water to come out of the little pipe thingy!.
If your question is deeper than it seems then
if you want to know about skin care, the answer about the pores is what you are looking for!.
If your concern is for the environment then, cold uses less natural resources because it doesn't need to be heated!.
If you are looking at it from a philosophical angle then the cold water would probably put you in touch with the feelings of those less fortunate that have to bathe in rivers and streams or with some hose in a lettuce field!.
If you are asking merely because you really don't know the difference between a hot and cold shower then: "what are ya, impaired!?"
