Head pain with allergy medication?!

Question: Head pain with allergy medication!?
I've started to take allergy medication to combat my allergies!. However, ever since I started taking allergy medication I've started to get these weird head pains, which feels like my head is building up pressure!. It only happens when I am moving around, like walking!. If I am sitting still then I'm alright and my allergies don't bother me!. The allergy medication is a generic brand from Target and the active ingredient is cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg!. Supposedly its the same active ingredient in Zyrtec!. Is this a common side effect!? Should I be worried!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Stop taking that medication immediately!. The symptoms you are having indicate that you are allergic to something in that generic med (possibly the coloring or other additives)!. You need to try something else, but in the meantime take a dose of benadryl (50mgs or 2 pills) ASAP to counteract your reaction!. If you have really bad allergies you need to see an allergist, you can still take otc meds but you need to find out exactly what you are allergic to in the medication so you don't have a repeat reaction!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its funny, that's actually how my allegies make me feel!. You should visit a doctor and get him to prescribe you something!. My doc gave me a pill to take once a day, I forget the name, but it makes me feel 100% better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
