Question: Can you really die peacefully!?
My mom says that my cousin, who passed away this morning, died comfortably and peacefully!. Can you give me an honest answer, whether or not you think you can die comfortably and peacefully!? THANKS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've seen a lot of people die in the hospital, and as a rule I'd venture to say that the vast majority die peacefully!. Death itself is usually a calm affair unless we're shocking them and doing chest compressions, etc!. trying to get them back, and if we are doing all that, I very much doubt that they are aware of what is going on at that point!. The hours, days, etc!. leading up to death seem to be the more uncomfortable part in most people!. Even that is eased usually with pain medications and by support of loved ones, and often by faith!. In traumatic deaths, most people are in shock long before they die and are usually completely unaware by the time they get close to death!. I bet your cousin did die peacefully!. If you feel peace in your heart as you think about that, I think that's your best answer, confirming that what your mom said is true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I definitely think that you can die peacefully and comfortably!. When my mom died 3 years ago, my dad said that she died peacefully!. I think that dying peacefully means that the person didn't have or express any pain!. When a person is dying peacefully and comfortably, they might look calm and relaxed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well if you die because of old age, not because you are sick, then yes!. you can die peacefully!. also, if you die in your sleep, you die peacefully!. but if you die because youre sick, then no!. you don't die peacefully!. you die painfully and probably a slow death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most definitely people can die comfortably and peacefully regardless of the reason!. There is a lot of medications out there that are used to ease people and make them comfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When people have terminal illnesses like cancer, they are given morphine to help ease the pain!. So, yes I believe that someone can die peacefully and comfortably!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
