Question: Is this a bug bite and what should I do!?
First of all I'm not going to the doctor so don't suggest it or tell me I need too ether!. I have a big red area on my leg with a raised spot in the middle ( like a bump kind of)!. The spot look like a hives!. I know because I have alleges and in this type of seasons they tend to act up and I some times swell up or get itchy hives!. (That hasn't happen really at all this year but it did the the previous ones!.) The spot is itchy!. I have taken Benadryl the last couple of days but there has been little change!. It's still the same size!. Isn't sore like it was and the bump thing is slightly smaller!. It also isn't as feverish as it was but it's still a little itchy and exactly the same size!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be a bug bite!. Just keep monitoring it, making sure no changes occur, which could signal a medical emergency!. If other areas, with similar characteristics, develops, it may mean that you have some type of skin disease or blood disorder and would definitely warrant professional advice!. Is there a white-head in the center!. If so it could be an infected hair!. If not there are all kinds of itch relief meds to apply to it!. I use lotions on the area!. Especially for dryed skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibiotics like Minocin, NSAIDs like Voltaren, COX-2 inhibitors like Celebrex, acetaminophen like Tylenol, codeine, and statins like Lipitor are all used to control inflammation and relieve the pain of arthritis!.
Regular exercise like walking, biking and swimming is also helpful for most patients!. Make sure that you are not overweight as carrying too much weight can only increase the pain of arthritis in the supporting joints of the hips, knees, ankles and feet!.
