Honest answer to temporarily lower your sugar!.!.!.drink a shot of vodka!.!. But that is not practical for most and wont do what you want in the long term!.

The reason he will test you in 3 months is to get a A1C reading!. This is an average of your BS levels for the past 3 months!.
As for your diet, its the carbs that matter, not sugar!. So eat lower carb meals with extra fiber and protein!. Veggies are great, but watch fruits, they are naturally higher in carbs!.
Watch "sugar free" junk, most of it is very high in carbs!.

Stress can raise your BS levels!. Do what you can to get rid of the stress in your life!. Although its not possible to be stress-free, but what you can eliminate, do it!

Exercise is important!. They say 30 minutes a day, but you can break it up into 10 minutes too!. Just move around more, walk further when you go to the store!. walk to the post office instead of drive!.!.etc!.!.what ever can get you moving that may not seem like exercise will help!!
Good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're right, the main cause of type two diabetes is being overweight!. And the best way to cure Type 2 diabetes is with diet control and weight loss!.

The worst thing you can possibly do is eat sugary foods!. This includes sweets, chocolates, biscuits, sugary cereals and fizzy drinks!. These are packed full of glucose which elevates your blood sugar immediately into a huge peak of sugar, and then plumments making you feel low, grouchy and knackered!. high sugar can also disrupt your sleep!.

Switch your diet to one full of complex carbs and fibre!. These will release a smaller amount of glucose over a longer time period, leading to a natrual, healthy level of blood sugar throughout the day- wholegrain breads and cereals, sugar free drinks are the way forward!. Check packaging of the products you buy!. Most in the UK now have a traffic light system- make sure you only buy products with the green on sugar !.

Changing your diet will help the weight loss a lot but it's also important to take up some form of regular exercise to shift some excess weight!. It can be anything from sports, walking, swimming, dancing- anything you fancy!.

You're at the point of return at the minute- you can turn your life around and save yourself from the lifelong diagnosis of diabetes!. Make the change now as it only gets harder the further into the condition you get!.

You will start to feel better as soon as you cut out the sugary foods!. I suspect it is the peaks of blood sugar causing most of your trouble with mood and sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's quite possible you are not diabetic at all, that the extreme stress is causing the elevated glucose!.!.!.that's why he wants you to come back later to re-test!.

Stress will always be in our lives!.!.!.not much you can do to avoid it sometimes!. But you can significantly manage your stress with some very important and natural techniques - I did these few things myself when I was running myself ragged years ago, and it made a really big difference:

1!. Practice deep breathing: Take a couple of minutes every hour or so to breath deeply into your abdomen, hold it a couple of seconds, then slowly exhale!. Do this several times and you will feel a little lightheaded at first, but then a calm will come over you!. If you do this hourly, you will be retrained to breath properly!. (Setting a reminder on your Outlook calendar will help you remember to do it) It will come naturally to you and as soon as you feel that stress response, you will remember that the deep breathing can relax you!.

2!. Exercise! Even short 10-minute walks around the block at your work will increase your circulation, bring more oxygen to your brain, and relax your tense muscles!.

3!. Eat properly!. During stressful times we skip meals, drink too much caffeine, rely on sleep aids, and eat fast food, all of which is toxic to your body, and it will pay you back!. Make the effort to drink caffeine only in moderation, get in at least one healthy meal with veggies each day, and minimize alcohol!.

4!. Try drinking a glass of milk about an hour before bed!. The trypophan (sp!?) is the same hormone in Thanksgiving turkey that makes you sleepy after you eat it!. A much healthier alternative to sleep aids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
