hi can anyone help me i have just had a letter saying i have a elavated value of tsh 36!.85 with normal values 0!.3 to 5!.50 can someone explain this to me as i have to go and see a endocrine team soonWww@Answer-Health@Com

Even without the other results that are normally measured, T4, T3 and TPO ( thyroid antibody), such a profoundly high TSH indicates gross hypothyroidism,( under-active thyroid!.) This will require treatment with levothyroxine quite quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

thyroid test - mine came back as 5!.9 and she says it is underactive but leave it just now and will check it again in 3 months, she said that 3 months ago when it was 5!.5 I know it is underactive as I am knackered, they checked for diabetes and that's came back a bit iffy, I have to watch my diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Looks like you have under active thyroid glands!.!.soon is an understatment, you need treatment pretty quick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
