Cross country with asthma?!
Question: Cross country with asthma!?
So I am joining the cross country team this year at my school and am really excited!. The only problem is that I have asthma!. I am not sure if that will be a problem or not since I have never run cross country!. I am a very athletic person though!. Is there anything that I can do to try to help get ready for cross country!. I have been running for roughly 35 min!. everyday but it is so hot and humid that I don't think I will be able to stand it much longer!. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

many people with asthma are successful runners - both track and cross country!.
just make sure you take your inhaler with you to use if you need toWww@Answer-Health@Com

35 Minutes!? That's all!.
Your going to need to be able to run a couple of miles at a time if your truly going to at least even compete with the other runners!.
Practice running and not jogging (rest every couple hundred yards if need be, but your going to need to not be fatigued easily)
As for the asthma!. Run with an Inhaler in case you push your self too hard!. (As long as it isnt too severe, you'll be completely fine)Www@Answer-Health@Com
