Answers:
Ab is does not represent abnormal in this instance!. IgG Ab is an immunoglobulin that reacts against foreign substances or viruses to protect your body!. If you were positive for hepatitis C, your blood sample would have been reactive with IgG Ab!. Since it was non reactive, the synthetic immunoglobulin your blood sample was exposed to in the lab was not trying to defend against the virus it reacts with, which is hepatitis C!. Since it didn't react to defend, the virus is not present in your bloodstream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not quite sure where you are getting "abnormal" from!. The test results read "Immunoglobulin gamma antibody, specific to Hepatitis C, did not react!."

It is phased that way in the event that you have a version of the virus that is mutated or malformed and doesn't react with the test's specific antibody (Ab)!.

So, you are Hep C negative!. Congratulations!.

I hope this answers your questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
