Anyways!.!.!.so now I am worried that within the last 6 months I have developed diabetes and it's affecting my eyes!.

Answers:
get back to your doctor and get a blood analysis!.

High glucose levels will do severe damage to eyes!. They can come back to near normal if you get control of the glucose levels!.

You need to get Rx for glucometer and test strips, and probably eat much lower carb!!!

I am thinking you are already taking Metformin for the PCOS!?!? The doctor may want to increase the dosage and maybe add other oral meds to that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it is not irrational and it can come on very quickly if your blood sugar control has been marginal in the past!. Your eyesight is especially vulnerable because it is the tiniest and most delicate capillaries that are first affected by circulation problems!. Time to tell your doctor your concerns and he/she can order a hemoglobin A1C test which will have your blood sugars averaged out for the past three months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lemonho!.!.!.!. !
This is not irrational as at the back of the eye on the retina are tiny blood vessels that nourish the nerves of the eye!. High glucose levels or high blood pressure can injure the cells lining these blood vessels (retinopathy)!. The earliest visible abnormalities are pinhead red dots next to the blood vessels that may come and go
