That sounds sort of odd for a Dr!. to say "there's a good chance!.!.!."

In order to know that you have aids you would have been tested for the HIV virus!. It that's positive, then they check your viral load and t-cell count which would determine what stage of the disease you're in!. If your t-cells are below 200 then you'd be diagnosed with aids!.

I suggest getting tested!. If you are, well, you're undeniably going to be devastated!. And it will take time to come to terms, accept, and understand your situation!. But do know this, HIV/aids is no longer the death sentence it was 20 years ago!. Truth is we're all going to die some day!. And aside from what some may say or think, HIV is not some Divine punishment, it's a disease!.

In any case, I'll be praying for you!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if you're a religious person, but if I were you I would start praying like yesterday! Since it's a possibilty, educate yourself on the disease and look into options!. If you do have it, if you're catching it early, you're increasing your chances of living b/c you're going to be able to get treatment before it gets into the bad stages!.

In the meantime, I would look into getting a blood test, possibly a western blot, and make sure that I have it!. It was unprofessional for a Dr to tell you "there's a good chance you have AIDS!." Good Luck!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to get a blood test to determine if you have AIDS!. Perhaps you misunderstood your doctor!. Did you have a blood test!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
