Answers:
Try putting some neosporin on a q-tip and apply it up each nostril three times a day!.If this isn't effective in about two weeks, then you may need to go to the doctor to get some Bactriban(mupirocin)!.I too had the same problem!.Mine turned out to be MRSA!.I got a bad head cold and ended up with sores in my nose for two months!.A lot of healthcare workers have nasal colonization of MRSA and don't even realize it!.Don't let it scare you,MRSA has been around since the 1960's!.The CDC states that only around 12% of MRSA cases are found outside of the hospital!.The media has made much hype about this and made a lot of people scared!.I got the bactriban from my doctor, put it up my nose, and it was gone in four days!.This was five years ago!.
Elizabeth is right on with the handwashing!
If you do have to go to the doctor, the cost should be just for the visit(around $50) and the medication($35)!.
Good luck, and hope the neosporin works for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably just have allergies!. Try a saline wash for your sinuses - about a cup of distilled water, a teaspoon of pickling salt (in the grocery store)!. Dissolve the salt in the water by putting the solution into the microwave for a minute!. Let the solution cool down to room temp and then squirt the solution into your nasal passages with a water pick on the lowest setting or with a bulb syringe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably not MRSA!. The saline wash is a good idea, and keep your hands off!. You are young and healthy your body will heal the sores!. btw wash your hands often, it's the best prevention for infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
