Adenoid and Deviated Septum getting fixed?!

Question: Adenoid and Deviated Septum getting fixed!?
On Wednesday I am having surgery to align my deviated septum and remove my adenoid that is really enlarged!. All of my life I haven't been able to breathe through my nose and my voice and singing have been really nasily!. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this surgery and if it corrects nasal sounding voices!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes your voice should improve after surgery!. There will be less air constriction through your nasal passage and this will significantly improve both your breathing (snoring) and voice!. Why not record your voice prior to the surgery and then after, you should be able to make out a clear difference!. Leave yourself a nice long message on your voicemail and listen to it later!. Good luck with the surgery!Www@Answer-Health@Com

thepeat made an excellent suggestion about making a recording of your voice prior to going into surgery so as to compare the pre and post surgical voice!. The deviation in the nasal septum and enlarged adenoids are most probably what are causing the nasal sound to your voice!. Remember though that there will be swelling and that it takes about 6 weeks for most of it to go down!. That is when you should record your voice for the second time and listen to the both for a good side by side comparison!. Just be patient and let your body heal before you worry about the results!. Good luck on the surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
