I have been told I have a low set brain, please help any neurologists/biologists!

Question: I have been told I have a low set brain, please help any neurologists/biologists!?
My neurologist recently told me that my brain was lower set in my skull than normal, but only slightly!. I forget the exact terminology he used and if that could be found out it would be of much help!.
If my skull is lower set, what exactly is at the top of my skull!? Is there just more sub arachnoid space or more cerebrospinal fluid, or could it mean I have an enlarged cerebrum!?
He told me not to worry about this condition but that might mean part of my brain is sitting directly on bone which doesn't sound very safe to me!. Any and all experience or knowledge is appreciated!.
Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do know what your neurologist is talking about but there is no way I could explain it to you without using medical terminology unless I had a picture to show you too!

Go back to the neurologist and ask him to explain fuller detail!.
Bascially the bottom-most part of your brain is sitting nearer to the top of your cervical spine that it does in other people!. I don't know what is in the space above or around because I cannot see your MRI/CT scan!.

Unless this explains the symptoms which led you to neurology in the first place I would not worry - most of us probably have little abnormalities within our bodies that go unnoticed, sometimes forever!.
Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have worked in hospitals as a nurse/nurse practitioner for many years (including neuro ICU) and have never heard of this even once!. Are you sure the person that you spoke with knew what they were talking about, or that your understanding of what they were saying was accurate!?

I'd go back to whoever told you that for clarification!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call your doctor's office and ask to speak to his nurse!. If he doesn't have a nurse in his office, then leave a message and ask him to call you and say in that message that you didn't understand what he was telling you and you need him to explain it a little more clearly!. Also, ask him for the name of the diagnosis!. Since he told you those things about your brain, I am assuming that you had an MRI scan of your brain, in which case, you can also go pick up the radiology report of that scan, and it should say on there what the findings were and the medical term would be on that report!.

Why are you seeing a neurologist!? That may give some hint as to the reason he ordered the test and the results that he explained to you but you didn't understand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would say!.!.if the dokta says dunt worry!.,!.!.

dunt worry!.!.!.be happy

und have a schlitz on me,!.!.!.

it may mean more close contact to and access to your thoughts ya know!.!.!.location, location, location!.!.!.ah ha!./

consult the neurologist, and then see a psychiatrist/before you call it a day und check out the proctologist , but not before you have a laugh with the optomologist that went haywire in fromt of a hemotogist that treated a brusied gynocologist, that just divored her endocronologist!.
