There are not a lot of studies on this issue; however, one study I found suggests that advancing age results in "de novo mutation" and possible alterations in genetic imprinting!.

there are many theories but there hasn't been one proven reason!. i think there is a number of combined factors that lead to autism!. advanced paternal age could be A factor not THE factor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
