My platlettes are sometimes low, I've got a high WBC (white blood count) and a low RBC (red blood count) and im barely above the borderline of anemia!. Would that prevent me from donating blood or plasma!? I think my blood type is O+!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your RBC could definetely be a problem!. They won't accept a blood donation if your iron levels are below a certain level, as a vegetarian I am usually below it!. Still, type O blood is in demand, so why not drop by the blood bank and have them check!? The American Red Cross insists on these hemoglobin and hematocrit levels:
Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Blood Count
Acceptable if you have a hemoglobin at or above 12!.5 g/dL!.
Acceptable if you have a hematocrit at or above 38%!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
