Most local clinics are free, call and ask if there is a fee!. As long as you can read and sign a consent your parents are not involved at all!. IF you should test HIV+ your parents will need to know as there are a lot of legal things that need to be done for medical care!. If your parents do not have insurance there is a program call ADAP that will cover your medical expenses!.
As far as you records, they are closed and NOBODY can get to them with out your permission!. There are laws that will protect you even if you are a minor!.
Good Luck with testing, It is a good decision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are literally hundreds of free (yes, absolutely free) HIV testing sites in Texas!. If you have internet access, you can most likely find one in your area!. And, if you're not sure that they don't charge anything, then, since most clinics list a phone number!. Local calls from your home phone are still free!. The majority of these clinics also provide free condoms, so the cost of a "glove" (as in "no glove, no love") won't be a problem in the future!.
But I've just gotta say it - If you can't afford a condom to start with, how will you afford treatment for an STD (without your parents' insurance)!? More importantly, how will you afford the baby that can also occur as the result of unprotected sex!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
