What causes boils?!

Boils, I got them when I was a kid on my legs all the time!. Especially if I went on a hayride! I learned to wear long pants when on hayrides! Boils can pop out on different body parts!. Boils occur when bacteria enters a hair follicle!. Although the boil itself is not a genetic trait, you can be genetically inclined to be suseptable to the viruses!. Boils start small, and grow!. Most boils are caused by a staph bacteria!. They can be pretty painful and usually you need to wait until they are ready to be "popped" to drain them!. If you get one, put hot (as hot as you can stand it without getting burned) compresses on it a couple times a day, that will take the infection to the top so the boil comes to a head (the top of the boil will be white in appearance)!. Once that happens, you can lightly squeeze the top and it will drain!. Wash the infected area with betadine to help prevent the bacteria from spreading, and then wash again with soap and water!. Once gone, just keep the area very clean, as clean as possible!. If the boil doesn't go away in a reasonable amount of time (a few days to a week), you need to see a doctor to be tested for MRSA and possibly to get an antibiotic!. The reason for this is that MRSA, won't heal, and could get worse, until you are treated properly!. I really don't know of any other ways to prevent boils but this website touches n some
