Question: Does (certain kinds of) sunblock cause skin cancer!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

my roommate told me the other day that certain kinds of sunblock with SPF (esp higher #'s) can cause skin cancer!! i really dont believe her and tried to search for some articles regarding it online, but am having no luck!.

I really think she is wrong, but i just want to be sure!. sunblock doesnt cause skin cancer!.!.!. right!?!!? how can something that helps REDUCE the rick of skin cancer cause cancer itself!?!?!?
