This is just a fancy way of saying that you have nerve damage!. The way you are treated is with What i already told you
Idiopathic means no known cause can be found!.

I dont think you have idiopathic, because the origin is known, you have back problems!.(cmon doc - get a clue-lol!!)

Peripheral neuropathy refers to the damage to the nerves of the peripheral nervous system which supply feeling and motor function to the body!.

The four major types of nerve damage are autonomic neuropathy, mononeuropathy, mononeuritis multiplex, and polyneuropathy (the most common which mainly affects the feet and legs)!. These disorders have many causes such as diabetes, alcoholism, HIV, toxin exposure, metabolic abnormalities, and vitamin deficiency!. Symptoms include weakness, cramping, decreased tendon reflexes, numbness, tingling, and pain affecting the arms and or legs!.

If your doctor believes that you have this disorder he or she would refer you to a neurologist, because they specialize in diseases of the nerves (CNS- central nervous system and PNS- peripheral nervous system)

Spinal column stimulator/will help with the pain !.

Types of Peripheral Neuropathy - Idiopathic

Idiopathic | Pre-diabetic/Diabetic | Hereditary | Toxic/Secondary to Drugs | Inflammatory | Systemic/Metabolic |
Compression | Other Types of PN

Idiopathic Neuropathy

Sometimes peripheral neuropathy seems to happen for no particular reason!. Doctors call this disorder "idopathic", which means "of unknown cause!." Typically, idiopathic peripheral neuropathy occurs in people over 60 years old; progresses slowly (or doesn't progress at all after the initial onset); and it can be very disruptive to someone's normal life and lifestyle!.
