Question: Does anyone know about Fibromyalgia!?

There is lots of information out there about fibromyalgia!. I have a blog about my own case of it!. I did do an entry about "what helps me" so that others who are new can read from a fellow patient the things I found to help myself!. It took me many years of experimenting to find the things that help me!. I am by no means cured but my health has improved!.
I also listed some links to reading lists for fibromyalgia !. The best book I have found that helps fibro patients who may have Myofascial Pain Syndrome , (which causes joint pain and "frozen " muscles is by Dr Devin Starlanyl!.

this is a disorder of the cns!. It's the disorder that causes chronic wide spread pain!. It's not contagious, and the believe it may be genetics that cause it!.
I am a registered massage therapist and after giving light relaxation massage to those with fibromyalgia, their pain greatly decreases for the time being!.

Inexplicable pain in muscles that doctors can't identify!. Muscles tend to contract for no reason and the pain can be very bad!. I was diagnosed with it for a short period of time, but insisted on more tests and it turns out I had something else!. No one really knows what causes fibromyalgia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My mother has fibromyalgia!. She experiences very severe muscle pain, which isn't helped by pain medication!. There is no explanation for it so far, but ive been told that it can appear after chronic fatigue or glandular fever, both of which my mum had before she started showing symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was recently diagnosed and found this website VERY helpful!. it's a bit of a process to find meds that can help and work!. i've already been on a few treatment cycles but stick with it and be open to try new things!. keep your head up, it may seem hard now but things will get better :-)
