Question: Whats a natural cure for depression!?
I heard exercise is good for depression and I tried going on long walks but no I don't think I feel any better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not really a thing you can "cure", it's just something you have to be able to manage, or balance!. St!. John's Wort is an herb said to have mood-balancing properties, it has a history of being used as an anti-depressant!. But I think it should be a combination effort - yes, exercise, try the St!. John's wort, maybe take some time to relax or pamper yourself, or read a book, or whatever is a relaxing activity for you, and then just mind-over-matter it until it's bearable!. Exercise builds up dopamine which is the neurotransmitter you need to feel better!. Walking is exercise, but you may consider picking up the pace a bit with some kind of cardio or weight training!. If you are depressed, you will need an extra push to overcome that gap and walking may not get you there!. If it's physically all you are capable of doing, just keep doing it until you can build up to something more rigorous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's not just walking, it's working out 30 minutes three times a week!.!.also, it's intended to help people with moderate depression, not severe!.!.i'm not sure what kind you have!.!.

I know how u feel!. Take the advice of others, ie: exercise and taking vitamins!. Yes, they do help!. In regards to exercise, you need to RUN, or jog!.!.!. something to really beat the stress!.

You may also try taking a long break!. I know u won't FEEL like it initially, but the only way is to give it a shot!. I just took a 4 day break to stay at a resort with lots of people, even though they are just acquaintances!. I forced myself to just leave the house, period!. I knew if I hadn't, I would go -crazy- It took 3 of my friends to convince me!.!.!.but at the end of the day u make the decision!. Right now I know that was the best decision I could make!.!.!.

It does take a while for exercise to help!. Keep walking!. And think pleasant thoughts while you walk!. Don't walk and beat yourself up, think good things!. Some people say St!. John's Wort from the health food store (like GNC or Whole Foods) can help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try taking a B12 vitamin daily for a while, but most of its just brain chemistry but can be as simple as a vitamin deficiencyWww@Answer-Health@Com
