What do you think of the new fire proof cigarettes ???!
Question: i think its great they have them. but if you lay your cigg. down in the ashtray they go out on you and got to keep liteing them. and you got to puff more on them to keep them lit...

I quit smoking in 1995. Not easy - not easy at all.
I used to pour water into my full pack just to make them unsmokeable and then I would go and by another pack.
Do you think you could quit? It is the hardest thing.

i think they are crap. we should educate people about the dangers of smoking while tired! i hate having to puff mega hard on my cigarettes! they go out in a matter of like 30 seconds! ARGH!
really? that's really clever! my brother in law falls asleep all the time with a lit cig in his hand. freaks me out, cuz i'm waiting for the day he burns his house down.
I think it's another chemical added and it's WRONG! No one should smoke fire re-tardent.
It's one of the reasons I quit last year. I smoked for 30 years, 2 packs plus right up until the last day.
I was and still am SO FN MAD at the government, purporting to care about our health, making OVER 50% of the cost in TAX, letting the companies add chemicals like benzine and formaldahyde..they DON'T grown in tobacco!!
Cigs IMHO wouldn't kill people if they were just tobacco like the old days.

The inhaler made it sooo easy for me to quit. I thought I'd die a smoker and never be able to quit.
Life is so much better without that crap in me.

As a nonsmoker, anything that can be done to reduce fires is welcome relief, so this sounds like a good thing. I presume a smoker may object due to having to continue puffing to keep them lit. Maybe these will cut down on the number of smokers.
I am trying to be nice about a subject I feel deeply about. Smoking should be taxed out of existance. Smokers are largely the ones with cancer. The cancer surgeries and the recovery after cause medical bills to be high.
i quit six months ago but my friend says in Boston were i grew up that all you can get is the fire retarding cigarettes.i heard they are terrible
