I assume you mean you are testing with a home testing kit?
You can't really gauge if you are diabetic by taking two tests a half our apart. If you want to have a better idea, take it right before you eat and then 2 hours after. In everyone the blood sugars will spike after eating but should be well on the way to coming back down by that 2 hour mark. If it doesn't and stays high, then it's possible that you could be diabetic or on your way to becoming diabetic.
However, the only true way to know is to contact your doctor and have them run blood tests on you that will help them determine whether you are or not. One such test is call the Hemoglobin A1C - or just A1C for short. It gives an average of what your sugars were doing over the last 3 months or so. There should only be so much build up in your cells from residual sugar. For someone not diabetic this should be between 4%-6%, for diabetics they try to have you aim for 7%. anything higher is diabetic. Of course if your doc is competent they will run more than one different kind of test to varify their findings.
I wish you the best.

Tests should be taken fasting ie nothing to eat for 10-12 hours as a start then if your high say over 9 to 10 you have a problem and need further tests.
