I got a PILONIDAL DISEASE at my bum. can i apply this on my wound.?!
Question: i got this disease 3 months ago and checked with docter. he gave me some anitbiotics and a tube but there is still a pus inside and he refered me to some other docter who is surgical and he said that i will have to go for operation. but i don't want operation. so please..... please suggest me what to do? i do not want operation please help me. i shall be very thankful to you for this kind of act.

Ouch! These are painful! I had one about 5 years ago. The doctor at the time told me to put a heating pad on the area at night when I was just laying around my dorm. She also suggested not sitting as much. When you sit on the area it only aggravates it more.
I was lucky in that they did not need to pop it. I didn't have to go in for any further procedures either. Just by taking the prescribed medication, taking hot showers, keeping a heating pad on the area and not sitting on it it cleared up. Good luck.
Alternate between hot and cold compresses. This will bring it to a head and allow you to draine (bust) it.
Also, hot baths will help bring it to a head.
I've had the same cyst for 30 years.
Don't do the surgery, because they can't guarantee it will not come back.
i have the same thing too its at the very top of my butt and it hurts like heck. i went in and had it drained and that was not fun. the doctor told me also that i will have to have surgery to get the rest out and im afriad also. he and the nurse suggested taking hot sitz baths every night if you want to bring it to the top. the surgery is also expensive well any surgery is. just letting you know your not alone.
