Question: i feel really sick..and when im sick my asthma acts up really really bad
right now im having trouble breathing..what should i do because everytime i take my inhaler/nebulizer it isnt helping me

I too have to use a inhaler/and nebulizer and sometimes I have to use a steroid. You may have bronchitis along with the asthma.The only thing you can do is go and see your doctor and let him make a diagnosis. I wouldn't be surprised if he did put you on a steroid med. you may have bronchitis or a walking pneumonia.... i would head to the doctor and get on a very strong antibiotic..... i have asthma really bad and i had alot of difficulty breathing, and went to the docs and come to find out i had the beginning stages of pneumonia.....
well you should visit doc and get a chest xray done first.Then a complete haemogram and see and changes . If everyhting is ok then you need to change the drugs and need to adjust dose .
I am in the same situation.
I went to urgent care and was Rx with bronchitis
doc put me prednisone for a wk
almost done still dont feel 100%
so my suggestion is go to the er it could be more than
asthma u could have a uri bronchitis or pneumonia
let them do a chest xray to see what is going on
