Can anyone please tell me what is ureaplasm, and is it treatable?!
Question: Ureaplasma is the name of a class of bacteria, it is normally found in the lower urogenital tract (urethra, vagina) but its also can cause urinary and genital tract infection if there is predisposing factor.
It can also be found on neonates, since the baby must pass vagina when they are born. This is not the case when the baby delivered by cesarean delivery.
Just like other bacterial disease, yes, it is curable using antibiotics.
