Bruise on my breast? Looks like bleeding under my skin! What is it?!

Question: I just got in the shower maybe 10 minutes ago and found about a 3-4 inch bruise on my right breast. I have no idea how I got it. It didn't hurt or anything. Also it looks like bleeding under the skin. I don't know what it is!

You should definitely go get it checked out, just in case. Even if it's nothing at all, it's better to be safe than sorry. You may have just bumped into something. I had something similar a couple of months ago, and it turned out to be some sort of cyst or something. I had to get an ultrasound to see if it was a cancerous lump. Fortunately, it was nothing at all, and it went away. Just make an appointment with your gynecologist a.s.a.p.

you should really get a doctor to check it out. Internal bleeding is serious if it just randomly appears.

A bruise is bleeding under the skin. The skin on your breast is probably pale enough for you to see it clearly.

No worries. It'll fade just like a regular bruise. You probably bumped something harder than you thought you did. Car door? Basketball? Aerobics? etc.

it could be a bunch of broken blood vessels in a cluster but it sounds to me like you have some major bruising and it may also be internal bleeding which i wasn't aware that you could see it. i'm no doctor so i would recommend you see yours soon :)

I agree with darkirk. You should still check it out with the tit doctor if it doesn't go away in like a week.
