Answers: My nose is flaky and red.

What will help it heal quickly?

Believe it or not chapstick or vaseline will help heal it up very quickly. Just put a little on your finger and spread it on your nose. Good luck and feel better!

udder butter

Carmex. It is the best thing for that kind of owie. It works very well for my grandson, and I have used it before, too.

Vicks works well, especially if you have a cold.

Face lotion.

Use Kleenex with lotion in it when blowing your nose. It really helps to prevent irritation.
Use face cream like Clean & Clear around your nose to help keep it moist.

polysporin

chapstick

Cocaine

vaseline

Any lotion with vitamin E and aloe

Theres an ointment thats called calendula(like the flower) thats works really good for stuff like that.

vitamin E

Try using either chapstick or vaseline. Putting lotion on it may make it burn and hurt even more due to the fragrances.

Feel better!

Vaseline - not the most popular stuff but it sticks and won't wipe off easily so your nose will heal quicker. Good Luck!

Vaseline, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Jergens, or Lubriderm.

Try vaseline. And if you still have to blow your nose, get those awesome puffs with lotion and vicks in them!

A lot of people have recommended vaseline, but it's not very practical if you keep having to blow your nose. I often have this problem and have found that using a very moisturizing but nongreasy lotion seems to work pretty well. I recommend Aveeno because it has dimethicone in it which is a skin protectant and won't make you break out or make your skin greasy. Also Aveeno makes an ultra moisturizing hand cream that lasts through handwashings that would work well on the nose. You want something that is going to absorb and stay on the skin but not wipe off every time you blow your nose. The tissue with lotion is a good place to start too, it will be more gentle on your nose.
