Does the Bubonic Plague look scary?!
Question: I'm doing a report in school o the Bubonic Plague. I am interested in learning, but scared to see pictures. Can somebody please tell me what to expect and if it's scary looking?

No, it does not look scary. I have helped to treat a few patients in Arizona who had bubonic or pneumonic plague.
(They all lived.)
I'll bet you didn't know that there is still bubonic plague in the USA.
I did a National History Day thing on that last year. The people with the disease is kinda gross lookin they either have red little splotchy things or theres arms and legs and stuff are black.

The scariest part is that people who have had it are DEAD and have been for a LONG TIME. Pictures can't hurt you.
