What kind of scar will I get from a mole removal?!
Question: I am getting 3 moles removed on Friday because my Dr thinks they could be cancerous. One is on my back, one on my thigh and one on my chest. The one on my chest is the only one i am worried about. I really like where it is, and everyone says its sexy so I am very upset about this. What kind of scar will be left there? Its about the size of a pencil eraser. The Dr is cutting it out not lasering.

If you keep it moist with ointment/vaseline and bandaged, there should be barely any scar.
I gotta wonder why you have no Proof if they are cancerous or not! Did he culture them first..or is he just making some money.?
or is this for precautionary reasons. I see doc's do this all the time, but only if a pt.complains about them.!!
He can take a small edge of it first and biopsy it..
if it looks pretty there, don't remove it..
you will have a scar..very small.
