Hand sanitizer made my hands peel. Can I still use it?!

Question: It was Vicks First Defense hand foam.
I used maybe 100-150 ish squirts in 3 - 4 - 5 days.
My hands completely peeled. It didnt hurt, but the whole things peeled, starting between my fingers, going to my palms in 2/3 days.
How often can I use it and keep nice hands? Im scared of getting sick..

Why the heck are you using it that much? It works for a couple hours after you initialy use it. Just keep your hands away from your face that's a good way of getting sick. Also if you eat out a lot. If someone makes your food who is sick or didn't wash their hands or something you could get their sickness so I always make sure I order hot foods out I just figure that helps a little. I'm like you, I don't want to get sick either.

stop using it

Believe it or not, hand sanitizers aren't all they're hyped up to be. You will remove just as many germs if you use soap and water and wash them for about as long as it takes to sing the song Happy Birthday to you.

If sanitizer is a must-have for you,I suggest you switch to another brand of sanitizer. You can also seek advice from a derma, because peeling is not a bit normal.Make sure to wash your hands frequently, before and after meals.

Clearly you used way too much. Ordinary soap and water each time you use the bathroom and before and after eating is scientifically proven to be enough.

You are using way too much of that product.

On the flip side if you keep eliminating bacteria (even the ones that can protect you) you can wind up sick anyway. Please get the truth from a medical professional. You are overdoing it.
