The bumps are most likely from irritation. If they only come when you shave then you just happen to be overly sensitive in that particular area. Be more gentle!

Brown discharge is usually a sign of old blood. I get it almost every period. It's just your body cleaning out the blood that did not make it out of your vagina during your last period. It's normal.

So to answer your question, no I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Please get yourself tested for STD's though, especially if you don't know your partner's sexual history. And use protection next time. You'll never forgive yourself if something ends up happening just because you were too lazy to get on birth control or get yourself some condoms.

don't be afraid. you'll never get the problem solved if you don't talk about it with someone.

Sounds like herpes to me!

Change in the color of vaginal discharge could be a serious sign. See a gynecologist IMMEDIATELY.

well red bumps after is razor burn. and browninsh discharge aftr your period can be normal there no chance of pregnancy right? browinsh blood is usually old blood. but if you have a gut feeling it could be an STD then yes get checked

I agree with Kelly its just a sign of old blood! Nothing to worry about! But do get yourself check for self relieve. OK sweety. Good luck and don't stress to much over it!!! SEE YA

The red bumps that itched were probably caused by razor burn and skin irritation if they only appeared when you shaved. The discharge is a hard thing to judge. Do you normally have regular periods? Have you made any major changes in your life, such as a diet change, a change in your exercise regimen, added stress due to the loss of a family member, or anything like that? I wouldn't be super freaked out until you are actually able to go to a clinic or talk with a doctor. Remember though that you are able to have a regular period while being pregnant. I am not trying to scare you or anything, but that is totally a possibility.

vaginal discharge is normal and the thickness/color can change around your period. with that said, it is very unusual for it to be brown. does it smell? does it get irritated? you might have vaginitis which isnt that big a deal and can be treated. there are a couple other possibilities but only your doctor can tell you for sure. cant rule out STDs either, since vaginal discharge is a symptom of many of them. i wouldnt get TOO worried about it, as everyone is unique and this discharge may be normal. if the discharge continues after your period i would really get to a doctor.

well if you shaved your private area, there will be red bumps. You say you were sexually active like a year ago? i dont think the bumps would just start now.....but if your having brown discharge, maybe a yeast infection? I would go to the doctor...

kelly is right...best answer

it sounds to me like you may have an std, but it is nothing to worry about, in most cases its treated with a course of anti biotics. ithink you should see a docter even tho you dont want to. its nerve racking and invasive, but its not that bad once you there. you'l have to do it sometime and at least it will stop you worrying! bite the bullet!

Fortunately you know you need to see a doctor even if it is for peace of mind. It sounds like it could be chlamydia or gonorrhea it could be a number of things.you sure don't want to keep waiting if you get an infection in your fallopian tubes it can cause sterilization.Get checked out quickly you deserve better. Use protection your life depends on it.

discharge is common, and the bumps sound like razor burn.

get an std test anyways
