Why dont people wise up and follow some simple rules?!
Question: I work in the public and have gone ALL WINTER without a single cold or flu....not even a stuffy nose...my method?..I keep a bottle of hand santizer in my car console,on my desk and at my house...every time I open a public door,pump gas into my car or touch any surface that may be contaminated,I clean my hands...1 quick pump and its over...I also wipe down my area and surfaces and door handles down with Clorox wipes every day...it only takes a second and its a good habit to have anyway with SARS and Bird Flu and who knows what else out there.....whats up with people?..do they LIKE being sick?

I AGREE..I am a cop...I have had 1 cold this year and that was from a Skell sneezing on me when I was arresting him...I keep sanitizer in my car too...its a habit now...every time I get out I pump when I get back in...it WORKS>..good post
I have to agree also..I work in retail...every season I stayed sick....this year someone suggested sanitizer and I keep it close....somebody also pointed out to me about gas pump handles...about 200-300 people a day handle them and they are never cleaned.....they are germ pits...that little pump of alcohol really does the trick...I think i will get some wipes for my desk too...Good idea...
so THATS how people are doing it...Ive noticed some people I work with havent been as sick as the rest of us and I have seen those bottles on their desks and just never wised up....and now that you mention it,GAS PUMP handles....bleeech!!Im getting a bottle today for my car,my desk,my house AND my kids
I agree fully with you and, do the same, especially with Wal-Mart carts, have you seen the little kids riding in them sucking on the plastic handles?
By the way Bird flu comes from mosquitoes...you idea still is good.
