I am so scared about getting HIV?!

Question: Today I was at work cleaning an office and I was wearing 2 gloves and I noticed that I has small amount of blood on one of the gloves so I went to wipe it off with a piece of paper and threw it away. So then about 20 min later I took off the dirty gloves and threw them away and wash my hand 2 times just to make sure my hands were clean. But then when I went to dry my hand I grab the same role and i dispend some paper out and the first couple of sheets and threw them away and then the next i took the sheets and wipe my hand dry w/ them. No I am scared that I might have got some blood on the other paper towels. Got I get HIV from this? I didnt see any blood on the role or anything.

HIV like the AIDS disease are only spread by the use of needles and a blood discharge during sex. I'm sure that if you bit someone with the disease that you could get it, but it is unlikely that you'll ever be in a situation like that. The AIDS/HIV disease dies with in milliseconds of hitting the air. This is why needles will spread the disease hence that blood can build up inside of the needle part. This disease is also more common in gay men, hence that the anus can easily be torn in entercourse. I wouldn't worry at all if I were you. I know that it's a scary thing to think about, but it is also much harder to catch the disease than others think. I hope I helped. =]

No love, you couldn't get HIV from that. HIV is only passed through bodily fluids being exchanged. If you have a cut, or open wound, and you get HIV-infected blood into it, then you would be at a slight risk of contracting HIV - but very slight. HIV usually passes through sexual intercourse or sharing dirty needles during drug use, although there have been a few cases where it has been passed through the exchange of saliva - wjhile kissing - when the uninfected person has a cut in their mouth, or an ulcer. It really is quite difficult to become infected, apart from the scenarios I have given.
