Head Lice?!
Question: there was a black bug crawling on my arm yesterday, i flicked it off but im kindda worried now that it was head lice. i think that a girl at my school has lice and shes in my sisters class.
the bug was completely black and the size of a sesame seed with legs but it didnt have any wings. what do lice look like? does anyone have a REAL pic of a lice? and can headlice be completely black?

If it were a louse it probably wouldn't be crawling on your arm. If you're worried get someone to check your head for nits. They're tiny and white, and they attach to hairs right next to your scalp. They're easier to find than actual lice.
i think they can be black if they have been living along time. have someone chech yor head for eggs and bugs. and if you do have it it sucks getting rid of it so good luck
Head lice can change their colour to the same as their host hair colour.

There are medicated shampoo's sold over the counter but sometimes even that don't kill them completely. I know this because years ago my daughter came home from school with head lice and my wife caught it and after repeated medicine treatments, the lice was still around. I found that hot water helps alot. follow all directions you get with the meds and wash in hot water, all of your beddings and clothes that could've come in contact with your hair or head, then if you still notice lice on your head after treatment was done, then try tilting your head backwards under the shower and turning up the hot water to as hot as you are able to bear, BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF, and you will feel the head lice go absolutely crazy and your head will become extremely itchy. Leave your hair under the shower for as long as you can handle and this will kill all head lice and eggs at once.
