SWOLLEN tonsils?? :(?!
Question: i think my tonsils are swollen and its really stressing me out...nothing else is wrong with me at all cept that. oh and i have those weird smelly tonsil stones but ive had those all my life..does this mean i need my tonsils taken out? :(

My tonsils are literally constantly huge. Sometimes I can't even swollow large pieces of food as well as I should.
My old doctor once told me that my tonsils could eat New York. hah
But I've never had strep throat, or any other problems. The most that I get is a sore throat due to allergies.
You can have your doctor check them out, but as long as everything else is okay, you really shouldn't worry.
EDIT:
You usually don't need your tonsils taken out unless you get strep thoat regularly, or have other problems such as constant sore throat, or trouble sleeping due to them being so large (i.e.- affects your breathing).
NO ,ITS NOT TONSIL STONES!ITS PITS IN THE THROAT THAT COLLECT FOOD AND LOOK LIKE WHITISH BROWN STUFF,THIS IS NOT YOUR TONSILS!YOU CAN REMOVE IT BY BRUSHING WITH A TOOTH BRUSH OR USING YOUR FINGER AND PUSHING AT THE SIDE,IT USUALLY MAKES ME GAG AND I SPIT THE STUFF OUT.IT CAN GET HARD,USE A DILUTED PEROXIDE AND WATER MOUTH RINSE.
becareful my son had that go on with him and to swoll en almost closed you really need to see a Dr. if it gets to bad they can 1 close up and you can die or they can pop and the stuff in it can kil you so go to the Dr. if it gets really bad.
